Pawsitive Strides Semi Private is a 6-week program. It starts with a small group class to build the foundational knowledge that all dogs need. Then we end the program by taking your skills into the real world with private lessons! That’s right, we could be walking in YOUR neighbourhood!
Get the best of both worlds with group training alongside private lessons tailored for you and your dog!
Here’s How It Works
Week 1 to 4 (in class)
We’ll gather in a facility that’s large enough to give 4 dogs space to practice. This way they’ll be less distracted by each other – that is, until we want them to be! We’ll cover things like:
- Your goals – what adventures do you wish you could go on?
- How to settle around distractions
- Equipment review and recommendations
- Activities to promote walking nicely
- How to manage behaviours right now (and your feelings when they happen!)
- Loose Leash and Heel practice
- Focus exercises
- Mental stimulation to tire out overactive dogs before, during, and after the walk
- Dealing with distractions
2 Follow Up Private Sessions (in the real world!)
These final 2 sessions are 30 minute private lessons with me. We’ll customize a plan to walk in the real world and put all your newfound skills to use! We could meet in your neighbourhood, at a local trail or park, or a store!

At the end of each session you get an email that sums up what we talked about. It’ll have all the good stuff, like handy resources, tips, and links to video demos. So you’ll have everything you need right at your fingertips!

Cost
This program would normally be priced at almost $350 based on the services offered. But when you join Pawsitive Strides Semi Private, your investment will be $300+HST.
That’s for all 6 lessons, your extra resources, goody bag, and email support from me 5 days a week!
A $50+HST non-refundable deposit is needed to reserve your spot.
Final payment is due on the day of the first class. You can also opt to pay your remaining balance in two monthly payments.
