Turn stressful walks into calm, connected ones.
If your dog pulls, tunes you out, or makes everyday walks feel harder than they should, Pawsitive Strides Semi-Private can help.
This small-group leash walking program gives you the structure, support, and real-world practice you need to build better walks – not just in class, but out in everyday life.
With 4 semi-private classes and 2 private follow-up sessions, you’ll learn how to help your dog focus, walk with you more calmly, and make going out together feel easier again.
This Program is For You If You Want…
- less pulling and more connection
- a dog who can actually tune in outside
- calmer, more enjoyable walks
- support applying the training in real life
- a clear plan instead of more random tips
You pictured walks feeling easy…
Not frustrating, chaotic, or embarrassing.
Maybe right now:
- your dog pulls the second you leave the house
- they seem to forget you exist the moment they spot a distraction
- your shoulders and back are paying the price
- you feel tense before the walk even starts
- you leave them home more often than you want to
- simple outings feel harder than they should
And the hardest part is that it’s not just about the walk.
When walks feel stressful, it affects your confidence.
It affects your routine.
It affects how much freedom you feel you have with your dog.
It affects the kind of life you imagined having together.
You do not need more generic advice.
You need support, strategy, and a way to make the training actually work in real life.
Why leash walking advice hasn’t worked yet
Most dog guardians who join this program have already tried something.
They’ve watched the videos.
They’ve Googled “loose leash walking.”
They’ve tested a tip here, an exercise there, and still ended up feeling stuck.
That’s because leash walking is not just one skill.
It’s focus.
It’s emotional regulation.
It’s timing.
It’s handling distractions.
It’s knowing what to do before the walk gets messy.
And it’s being able to apply all of that outside your home, where real life happens.
That’s exactly what Pawsitive Strides Semi-Private is designed to help you do.
A better way to build real-world leash walking skills
Pawsitive Strides Semi-Private gives you the best of both worlds:
You start in a small, supportive group so your dog can learn the foundations without being thrown into overwhelm.
Then we take those skills into the real world with private follow-up coaching, so you can practice where it actually matters – in your neighborhood, at a park, on a trail, or another dog-friendly location.
So instead of wondering how to transfer class work into daily life, you get help doing it.
That means:
- more clarity
- more support
- more confidence
- and faster progress than trying to piece it together on your own
Here’s How It Works
Weeks 1-4: Semi-private group classes
In a small group setting, you and your dog will build the foundation for calmer, more connected walks.

We’ll work on:
- focus and check-ins
- loose leash walking skills
- handling distractions
- settling around other dogs and people
- practical ways to manage challenging moments
- exercises that help your dog tune in to you
- enrichment strategies that make walks easier
Final 2 sessions: Private real-world follow-up sessions
These private sessions are where everything starts to click.
We’ll customize a plan based on your dog, your goals, and the places you actually want to go. We might meet in your neighborhood, at a local trail, in a park, or another dog-friendly location.
This is where you learn how to use the skills in the situations that matter most to you.

What can change when your dog learns to walk with you
When leash walking gets easier, it’s not just about the leash.
It can mean:
- feeling less stressed before you head out
- having more confidence handling distractions
- enjoying more adventures together
- saying yes to outings you’ve been avoiding
- feeling more connected to your dog
- trusting that you have a plan when things get hard
That’s the real goal.
Not perfection.
Not robotic heel work.
Just better walks, more confidence, and a dog who can tune in with you.
