When life is already full, dog training can easily become one more thing that keeps getting pushed to next week.

Meanwhile, the pulling, jumping, overexcitement, lack of focus, and everyday stress do not stay small. Walks keep feeling frustrating. Outings feel harder than they should. And even with the best intentions, it can be hard to find the time, energy, and consistency to create real progress alone.

Day Training offers a more supported way forward.

My Day Training Program is a high-support option for busy dog owners who want expert help with real-life skills like leash walking, focus outside, polite greetings, calmer behaviour, and everyday manners. During the week, I work directly with your dog on your training goals, then coach you on how to maintain that progress so the results carry over into daily life.

This is not about expecting perfection. It is about creating calmer, more connected, more confident progress in a way that actually fits real life.

Depending on your dog’s needs, you can choose between a focused skill-building program or a more intensive, multi-goal training approach.

Why Day Training Works

Day Training offers a more supported path forward.

Instead of trying to fit all the training into a packed week on your own, your dog gets focused, hands-on work from a professional during the week. Then you get clear guidance on how to maintain and build on that progress at home.

That means:

  • less guesswork
  • less overwhelm
  • more momentum
  • more support
  • more practical progress that carries into real life

What Day Training Can Help With

This program is designed for real-life challenges, not just obedience in a quiet room.

leash pulling and stressful walks
overexcitement and difficulty settling
jumping up on people
lack of focus around distractions
building engagement and check-ins outside
everyday manners at home and on outings
confidence in new places and situations

If there is a specific goal in mind, reach out and ask. I am happy to talk through whether Day Training is the right fit.

A smarter option for busy dog owners

Private lessons can be incredibly helpful, but they also place more of the hands-on work on your plate from the beginning.

Day Training is different.

This program is designed for families who want more support, more structure, and more momentum.

It combines professional hands-on training with coaching and follow-through, so progress does not depend on finding hours of extra time in an already busy week.

For the right client, that can mean:

faster traction on important goals
less frustration and inconsistency
more confidence knowing what to do next
a training plan that feels realistic to maintain

Choose the Right Day Training Option

Not every dog (or owner) needs the same level of support. That’s why we offer two day training options – so you can get the right level of help based on your goals.

Leash Skills & Confidence Builder

Best for dogs who need help with one main challenge, like:

  • Pulling on leash
  • Struggling with distractions on walks
  • Difficulty focusing outside the home

This option is perfect if your dog is generally manageable, but walks aren’t as calm or enjoyable as you’d like.

What to expect:

  • Two shorter training sessions per week (approx. 1 hour each)
  • Focused work on one primary goal
  • Real-world practice in your dog’s everyday environments
  • Faster progress than DIY training, without a full intensive commitment

Day Training Intensive

Best for dogs who need support with multiple skills or where walks feel stressful or overwhelming.

This option is ideal if you want faster, more comprehensive results and less pressure on you to do all the training yourself.

What to expect:

  • Longer, immersive training sessions (up to 3 hours)
  • Work on multiple goals (leash skills, calmness, focus, real-world exposure)
  • Consistent repetition and structure for faster progress
  • A strong foundation you can confidently maintain

Ready for dog training support that fits real life?

If walks feel harder than they should, training keeps getting pushed aside, or more support is needed than a class or occasional lesson can provide, Day Training may be the right next step.

Who This is For

Day Training may be a great fit if:

  • training keeps slipping down the priority list
  • walks feel frustrating, stressful, or discouraging
  • more support is needed than a weekly lesson or class provides
  • progress has felt inconsistent or slow
  • a personalized, high-support option feels more realistic than trying to do it all alone
