I am Amanda, the owner of No Hassle Dog Training and the mentor behind Pathways to Pet Care. After a career in customer service and management, I started my own business in 2021 and learned firsthand how different it feels to make decisions when the business is yours.
Since 2023, I have supported aspiring pet professionals as they turn ideas into clearer offers, work through the practical side of business, and build with more confidence. My approach is calm, practical, and kind.
I will not hand you a cookie-cutter formula or expect you to become someone else to run a successful business.

I just started my pet care business. Am I too early to join?
Not at all. Building your business with the right foundation from day one will save you years of trial, error, and burnout. Our resources are designed to help you set up sustainable systems from the start.
What if my business is already operating?
You do not have to be brand new. If you are re-launching or looking to grow your current business, PPC can also support you as you refine offers, revisit pricing, improve client communication, build systems, or make growth feel more sustainable.
What if I can't make the live calls?
All live coaching sessions and workshops are recorded and added to the member hub within 24 hours, so you can watch them whenever it fits your schedule.
I'm not very tech-savvy. Is the support overly technical?
We keep things intentionally simple. You don't need to be a tech wizard to succeed here. We provide clear, step-by-step guidance, and our community is always ready to help if you get stuck.
Will PPC teach me the technical skills for my profession?
No. PPC is not a certification program for dog trainers, groomers, dog walkers, pet sitters, or other pet care providers. There are many excellent professionals who offer technical and case-specific education. PPC focuses on the business side and the human side of putting your work into the world. I may sometimes be able to offer general support on a specific case, but that is not the main purpose of the membership.
Will I get direct, 1:1 support from Amanda?
Yes! Your onboarding call is 1:1 so I can get a sense of where you're at in your business and how I can best help you. While the Zoom calls are group coaching, Coach in your Pocket is your direct access to me. Message me Monday to Friday and I typically respond the same day to answer questions and guide you in your next steps. I also pop in to the community to check in on everyone and answer questions there.
What happens immediately after I join?
You will receive a welcome email with access to the hub. I will also reach out to schedule your 30-minute onboarding call, where we will talk about your stage of business, your current goals, how I can best support you, and how to use the hub.
Is there a minimum commitment period?
There is no minimum commitment period though I would recommend staying for a minimum of 3 months to give yourself and your business the best chance at success. You can cancel your membership at any time, you'll retain access for that month and can re-join again in the future if you wish.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Your membership is billed monthly and you can cancel at any time. You will retain access until the end of your paid billing period. Payments already billed are non-refundable.
Can I pause my membership?
Memberships cannot be paused. You can cancel and rejoin later if a space is available.
